Protect All Children Today Inc (PACT) is currently seeking new volunteers for its Child Witness Support Program. In particular we are looking for mature and reliable volunteers to fulfil this role supporting children and their families in the Sunshine Coast, Gympie and Hervey Bay areas.
Child Witness Support Volunteers (CWSV) provide support and preparation for children and young people who are required to give evidence in criminal courts either as victims of, or witnesses to, a crime. Successful applicants will enjoy working with children and need to be flexible to attend court sitting days as required. Comprehensive training is provided at no cost and CWSV's receive a contribution for out of pocket expenses incurred as part of their volunteer duties. Applications close on Monday 9th August.
